From time to time, we will post useful information we learn from our veterinarians friends, anecdotes we collect from our customers and industry information. We invite you to post your experiences with Sammy Snacks treats and food as well as anecdotes you believe other pet owners would appreciate hearing about. The original idea for the company was a cookie we could share with our pet. Please share your useful information with us.

We will be happy to ship you food and/or treats but we would not be doing our job if we didn’t also recommend that you drop by your favorite pet store and ask them to carry Sammy Snacks. Thanks for such a great product my dog loves the treats and now the food. Her coat is so shiny and the cleanup in the backyard is much less. I have tried all the premium foods and she eats them for awhile and get sick of them. The Lamb and Rice from Sammys is just right for her. She really enjoys her food and does not have to eat as much to get full. She is 11 years old and had the energy of a dog half her age. Thanks for a great product and I will recommend your food to all my friends.

We won some Sammy Snacks in an auction to help out a dog with high medical expenses. My dogs Kiko & Josie just love them, and I am thrilled to be able to provide them with healthy snacks. I came to the site hoping to purchase some of the sweet potato chips but I don’t see them. Please don’t say you’ve stopped making them!! I’ll have to go join the Facebook treat club. Thank you for making such a great product. I have tried many different kinds of treats for my dog and she loves the Sammy Snacks treats. She is a 7 year old black Lab. She loves the peanut butter treats. I was wondering if you were going to have the treats and food available at retail locations in North Carolina. I live in Cary and have not seen the food in any stores around here. Please let me know it would make it easier if we could pick up our food and treats at a pet store. thanks

In January, we are very excited to announce that local pet store owners in North Carolina will be able to order our food and treats from Summit Pet Distributors in Greensboro, NC. Summit Pet is a well respected distributor that covers VA, NC, SC, GA, AL & TN. Until then, we offer our food and treats on our website. Thanks for such a great product! My cats have been eating Sammy snacks food for about 6 years now. I first started feeding them the food while I was living in Harrisonburg, VA. Now I live in Florida and get it shipped here. They were originally fed Science Diet and one of my cats started having blood in her stools. I switched to the Sammy snacks and never had this problem ever again. My cats are in great health and I believe a lot of it has to do with the food that I feed them. They also love it! I recommend Sammy Snacks to anyone I know that has pets. Great new website!

I have a minature poodle named Teddy who is very picky about what treats and food he eats. I bought a bag of the cranberry treats and opened them up. Teddy loved the treats and waits by the door now when I come home in anticipation of getting a Sammy Snacks treat. Thanks for the great product. Keep up the good work.

I purchased several different snacks and some dog food yesterday. My dogs love the cheddar snacks (so do I) as well as the choc chip and the mint karob. They went nuts over them in fact. My vet told me about Sammy Snacks and I am glad I went to see what they offered. They are very helpful and friendly too. You can’t ask for more! Oh! There is a new blueberry Sammy Snack too. The pups really like them.
Our pup Chewie is the pickiest lab mix on earth. So for the past 9 months I had been supplementing his, what I thought was nutritious food, with homemade yummies. Our trainer had forewarned us that a lot of the dog foods you see in the large chain stores were filled with mold and made out of food that we wouldn’t even consider fit for consumption. We were on the hunt for a good solid kibble to keep our pup healthy. We just moved to the area and like any newbies we made our way to the Mall. We found a great little store that sold Sammy snacks and we bought a small bag to try. Our pup LOVES the lamb food so much that he will eat the kibble without any incentive! WE WERE AMAZED! Needless to say you have gained a customer. Thank you and we will be in to get more soon as a 5.5 lb ‘try me’ bag doesn’t last long!
Your Duck & Potato dog food has changed our Bison Frise’s life. After switching from Organic Iams to your food, Daisy became like a puppy again; she is 12 years old. She had had low energy and a hard time walking some of the steep hills in the area. Now she plays with her squeak toy; she can walk for 30 -45 minutes up and down hills. In addition, she stopped having hot spots all over her legs and back. We cannot thank you enough. We have spread the word to many neighbors who had noticed the difference in her. UNFORTUNATELY, the local pet store, Dominion Pet Center, just stopped carrying it so the search is on to find another source.
